Al Pacino wore the Concord Delirium Mariner in Scarface, forever linking the Delirium collection to one of the greatest cult films ever made. The watch presented here is its elegant sibling: the Concord Delirium IV, sharing the same revolutionary architecture in a more refined and timeless execution.
 
In 1979, at the height of the Quartz Crisis, Concord stunned the industry by unveiling the Delirium, measuring just 1.98 mm thick—the thinnest watch in the world at the time. This remarkable achievement was made possible by a groundbreaking construction in which the case itself served as the movement’s main plate, eliminating the traditional caseback entirely.
 
Crafted in solid 18K yellow gold, our example features the signature integrated bracelet and a beautiful Roman numeral dial, offering a more classical interpretation of the bold Delirium concept. While distinct from the Mariner seen in Scarface, it embodies the very same spirit of innovation that made the collection legendary.
 
More than an ultra-thin watch, the Delirium became a symbol of Swiss ingenuity during one of the most challenging periods in horological history. It proved that Swiss watchmaking could still lead the world through engineering, creativity, and uncompromising design.
